At times like this when the economy is in shambles and unemployment is high even though it's getting low, it could be problematic for a diva to not only keep up with her appearance but also the care of her hair, skin, nails, body and health regarding the costs in services of beauty salons, health clubs, gym memberships, and doctor visits. These normal regimines you can do yourself at home. Yes, you! Why? You got hands. You can do them yourself. However, if you're a hand or arm amputee or born with no hands or arms, you can ask someone you know to help you. There's no reason to get lazy on it. The best part about doing them at home yourself is that you can save tons of money. If you don't work how to, you can ask someone you know to teach you how or you can do some research on these routines through books on beauty or online. If you're a busy body who is always on the go, I suggest you make a daily schedule and set aside thirty minutes day to practice one routine. The following is my weekly schedule which is used an example.
Monday facial
Tuesday hair removal
Wednesday hair wash
Thursday pedicure
Friday manicure
You can rearrange your schedule on your routine to the point where you feel more comfortable with your time. You can do it at anytime of day. I suggest that you can do the routines after you come home from work or school. If you're a stay at home mom you can do it when the child is alseep, if you're a homemaker you can doing between chores or after your chores are done, but if you're always traveling, make sure you bring a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of condtioner, manicure set, any hair removal kits like shaving razors or electric razors, a tube of facial scrub, a tube of facial masque, facial toner, facial exfoliant and moisturizer and lotion with you. You can buy any of them at your local dollar stores like Family Dollar or Dollar Tree. It's best if you place them in your carry on bag when you're flying.
As far as exercising is concerned, it's important to get in and keep in shape not just for the sake of your body's appearance, but also for the sake of living longer and conditioning the health of your heart, your lungs, the joints in your body and nervous system. You don't need to get kick your hard earned money in gym monthly memberships and any bulky equipment that takes up so much floor space that you have no room to move around. What you need is plenty of floor space to do aerobics tai chi, dance, in home walking, or kickboxing on, a floor mat, a couple of blocks and a belt or strap for yoga and pilates exercises, a set of weights for strength training, a chair for balancing, and jump rope or small trampoline for jumping, and a step board for step dancing and a few blank vhs tapes or blank DVDs to record your favorite exercise shows. Now you got your own personalized gym. This method is useful in case you can't make it to the gym and fitness center due to bad weather, natural disasters, lack of cash for car fare and car gas, or sickness. Things like this can happen, it's better to be prepared. But if you need help in keeping track of your process, you can make friends with a personal trainer and he or she will give you advice and routines on fitness, health, and diet.
And for your health, invest in taking a multivitamin daily, drink eight cups of spring water eight ounces of each cup (64 ounces total) daily and invest in eating five servings of fruits and vegatables daily. Always visit your doctor for checkups on your health, also do some online research on at home treatments and remedies for any sickness and symptoms such as colds, stomach problems, etc. You can also take a local health class to learn any issues regarding weight loss, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. If you have a long term condition that is life threatening, do research on treatments, diets, and medications to help you overcome your ailments. Be sure to medications only as prescibed daily, keep all your medications update, schedule yout time for oral medications that way you will mot for forget, and PLEASE, under any circumstances, watch your oral or injection intakes on your medication that way you will not overdose by accident.
Remember, you don't need to be rich and famous to be a diva, just being yourself is what a diva is all about. Blessings.
